Why?
So, Isabelle is our curious child. She is constantly asking questions and coming up with her own conclusions on why things are the way they are. We were running errands yesterday afternoon and she says to me, "Mommy, why do parents work and kids go to school?" I said (as usual), "what do you think?" and she said "I think God got confused-I think kids should go to work and parents should go to school." It was really cute. Another fun Isabelle story-On Monday, I thought it would be a good idea to run to Isabelle's school to pick her up-I needed to get a long run in, it seemed like a nice day, and so off I went. I get there and she asks me where the car is. I told her I brought the stroller today. She wasn't sure what to think...we had some interesting spring weather on the way home and she was even less sure what to think about all of that. She recited Curious George about three times total on the jog back (translation-she was bored). We get home and she says to me, "Mommy, tomorrow do you think you could maybe bring the car to pick me up?" :). Point made, Isabelle!! A fun Olivia story....Ellie (her little friend who is about ten weeks older than her) isn't feeling well today. Our nanny was watching them both this morning. Ellie was sitting on the floor, obviously uncomfortable, just not feeling good at all, when Olivia crawled over to her and put her arm around her shoulder for a good thirty seconds. They are the best of pals!
